4 on and 3 off shift pattern – days to be confirmed.

Working hours either 18:00 – 06:00 or 20:00 – 08:00.

Hourly rate – starting at £13.10 per hour

About The Role

We are currently recruiting a number of food production/packing operatives to join the team, to help produce, and pack our products.

The role will suit candidates who have worked for a small or medium company and are willing to work in a hands-on varied role; previous Food Industry experience is desirable but not necessary.

All new starters will be required to complete a 12-week trial period and given a permanent position upon successful completion.

Skills Required

• Must be of minimum required age for general rules of employment

• Good Maths skills
• Good attitude to work
• Previous manufacturing experience (desirable)
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Good level of English (writing, reading & speaking)
• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Weighing up Ingredients.
• Quality checking of products/packaging
• Maneuvering biga tubes up to 45kg to production lines.
• Operating machinery-Line set-up/flo-wrap/box erector etc.
• Packing finished products to strict deadlines.
• Loading/Unloading Industrial ovens.
• Palletising orders ready for dispatch.
• Following customer specification guidelines
• Complying with Food Safety/ Health & Safety requirements.
• Clean as you go within the working area.
